Volunteer Information
It takes many hands to keep our Sacred Heart community going and we rely on the generosity of many, many volunteers for our school and parish activities. With the use of SignUp.com, sign up and participation is easier than ever.
Below you will find links to both short-term parish events and long-term school activities. If you have any questions or problems, please contact SHFloVolunteers@gmail.com.
It is expected that all families, regardless of the religious affiliation, volunteer a minimum of 15 hours over the course of the school year. One of these hours must be spent at Oktoberfest and one hour must be at School Picnic as these are two of the biggest fundraisers for the school.
The remaining hours can be served in a variety of ways to the parish or school. It is the responsibility of each family to track their service hours using a form provided by the school. All hours must be logged and turned into the school office by June 15. A fee of $25.00 per unserved hour will be deducted from the family’s account as of June 30.
In accordance with the St. Louis Archdiocese, all adults overseeing student groups (teams, scouts, etc.) are required to attend a Protecting God’s Children workshop. Please see the attached Safe Environment Registration information. Click here for registration
Details and scheduling can be found on the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment Program website.
